Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities at the Sherbrooke facility. The incumbent ensures that production, quality, and safety objectives are achieved while promoting the efficient use of human and operational resources. Acting as a key resource for production teams, the Production Coordinator works closely with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of operations.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Sherbrooke facility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily production activities to ensure operational priorities, deadlines, and objectives are met;
  • Supervise and support production employees in the execution of their duties;
  • Manage the personnel under their responsibility, including coaching, training, and employee development;
  • Ensure quality objectives are achieved and established procedures are followed;
  • Promote and enforce health and safety standards in the workplace;
  • Coordinate production, quality control, receiving, and shipping activities;
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective follow-up on operational activities and resolve issues as they arise;
  • Support other departments in matters related to the Sherbrooke facility;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and work methods;
  • Perform any other related duties required within the scope of the position.

Required Qualifications

  • College diploma or relevant vocational training;
  • Experience in personnel management;
  • Experience supervising personnel in a manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge of production management principles and manufacturing operations;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in French, spoken and written;
  • Knowledge of English – an asset.
